Plastic Luggage Tags

Plastic luggage tags help travelers spot and identify their bags fast at any airport. Each plastic luggage tag holds a name and contact details on a light card that wipes clean. Exact material should be confirmed before publication. Teams, schools, and travel groups order custom plastic luggage tags with a logo, artwork, and full color printing. Plastic name tags for luggage also keep group trips organized. They suit trade shows, employee gifts, and sports travel. What Plastic Luggage Tags Do and How They Work A plastic luggage tag is a small ID card that clips onto a suitcase, backpack, or gear bag. It shows your name and phone number, so airline staff or a helpful stranger can return a bag that goes missing. Most plastic luggage tags use a flat card shape with a hole or slot for a loop. The loop wraps around a bag handle and locks shut. Travelers can move one tag between bags in seconds. PVC Material, Thickness, and Travel Durability Two plastics are common here. Rigid PVC gives a stiff card feel with a smooth print surface. Soft PVC is molded and flexible, so it bends instead of cracking. Material information should be confirmed before publication. Plastic handles rain, dust, and rough baggage handling better than paper or cardstock. The surface also wipes clean with a damp cloth. Ask your supplier to confirm thickness, weather resistance, and expected life before a large order. Plastic Luggage Tag Holders, Inserts, and Loop Choices Plastic luggage tag holders work a little differently from printed tags. A holder is a clear or colored sleeve that protects a paper insert. You can update the details later without buying a new tag or holder. Privacy Covers and Write-On Contact Cards Some styles hide your details behind a flap or a small window. Staff can still read the card when needed, but other travelers cannot. Confirm which insert, window, or write-on option your chosen tag or holder includes. Luggage tag holders in plastic ship with different loop types. Common options include a stainless steel cable, a PVC strap with a buckle, or a plastic worm loop. Steel cables resist pulling, while straps are faster to remove. Custom Plastic Luggage Tags for Branding and Bulk Orders Custom plastic luggage tags support full color printing and screen printing on rigid stock, plus molded 2D or 3D designs on soft PVC. You can set the shape, size, color, and loop. Everything can be customized to suit your branding, event, and usage requirements. Plastic name tags for luggage also help schools, sports clubs, and tour groups. Color coding by team or department keeps large groups moving quickly. A branded tag then travels through airports and hotels long after the event. Buyers choose plastic because it is light, easy to print, and priced well for bulk runs.
