Acrylic Medal

Custom circle medals provide a simple and memorable way to recognize achievement, participation and personal effort. Their familiar round shape gives you a balanced space for displaying a logo, event name, award title, date or colorful design.

These personalized medals can be prepared for sports competitions, school events, charity races, corporate programs, gaming tournaments and community celebrations. Whether you are recognizing first-place winners or thanking every participant, a custom medal gives recipients something physical that they can keep after the event.

The product image shows a round medal attached to a yellow neck ribbon. Its center contains a full-color design with text, graphics and several colors. This suggests that the medal can support detailed event artwork, although the exact printing method and artwork requirements should be confirmed before ordering.

Create a Medal That Represents Your Event

The design of an award should reflect the event and the people receiving it. You can customize a circle medal with your organization’s logo, competition name, event date, sponsor information or achievement category.

Sports organizers may include the tournament name, team logo and final position. Schools can add the school crest, academic subject or year of achievement. Companies may use their corporate colors, campaign title or employee-award category. Charity organizations can include the name of a cause, fundraising event or supporting sponsor.

A circular layout works well for both simple and detailed artwork. A logo can be placed in the center, while text can follow the outer edge. You may also use the full surface for an illustration or event graphic. Keep important text large enough to read after the artwork is reduced to the selected medal size.

RAFFLESTAG should confirm the available printable area and provide an artwork template when possible. Request a digital proof before production so you can review the spelling, colors, positioning and overall appearance of the medal.

Choose from Six Medal Sizes

The product page lists six sizes: 2, 2.25, 2.75, 3.25, 3.50 and 4 inches. These are approximately 50.8, 57.2, 69.9, 82.6, 88.9 and 101.6 millimeters.

A 2-inch medal is the smallest displayed option. It may suit children’s events, participation awards and programs that need a compact medal. Medium sizes can provide more room for event information and detailed artwork. Larger medals can create a stronger presentation for championship awards, premium competitions and important ceremonies.

The best size depends on the amount of artwork, the required visual impact and your budget. A small medal may be enough for a clear logo and short title. A larger option may be more suitable when the design contains several lines of text, sponsor logos or detailed graphics.

Before ordering, confirm whether the listed measurement refers to the full medal diameter. You should also ask for its thickness and weight, especially when ordering large medals that will be worn around the neck for long periods.

Full-Color Custom Artwork

The gallery image shows a medal with a colorful printed design. Full-color customization can be useful when your artwork contains photographs, gradients, detailed illustrations or several brand colors.

Upload a clear, high-resolution artwork file through the product page. The upload area accepts files up to 10MB. Vector artwork is generally preferred for logos and text because it can be resized without losing quality. If you only have a raster image, provide the highest-resolution original version available.

Avoid sending artwork copied from social media or screenshots because these files may become blurry when printed. Fonts should be outlined or supplied with the artwork, and all spelling should be checked carefully.

The page does not identify the printing process. Ask RAFFLESTAG whether the design is created using digital printing, an insert, epoxy coating or another method. Also confirm whether the medal includes a protective surface layer to help protect the artwork from scratches and regular handling.

Add a Ribbon for a Complete Award

A yellow ribbon is visible in the product image, but the page does not state whether it is included in the standard price. Confirm the ribbon length, width, material and attachment before placing your order.

Different ribbon colors may help separate award levels or competition groups. For example, organizers might use different colors for gold, silver and bronze positions. Schools can select a ribbon that matches their school colors, while companies can choose colors connected to their brand identity.

Ask whether custom printing is available on the ribbon. A printed ribbon could include a company name, sponsor logo, event date or short repeating message. This can provide additional branding while making the finished award feel more complete.

The ribbon should also be comfortable to wear and securely connected to the medal. Confirm whether it includes a clip, ring or other attachment and whether replacement ribbons can be purchased separately.

Suitable for Sports, Schools and Community Programs

Custom round medals can be used across many types of programs. Sports clubs can order them for soccer, basketball, baseball, swimming, martial arts and athletics competitions. Race organizers may use them for marathons, fun runs, cycling events and charity walks.

Schools can present medals for academic achievement, attendance, music, art, debate, reading and graduation activities. Youth organizations may use them to celebrate completed programs, teamwork and personal development.

Businesses can create medals for employee recognition, sales competitions, company games and anniversary events. Community groups, nonprofits and local authorities may also use customized awards for volunteer programs, cultural festivals and fundraising campaigns.

Not every medal needs to represent a winning position. Participation medals can recognize the time and effort contributed by every person. This is especially valuable for youth events, charity activities and community programs where inclusion is an important part of the experience.

Optional Names, Categories and Back Printing

Some events require the same main design across the complete order, while others need different categories or recipient details. Ask whether RAFFLESTAG can add individual names, numbers, award positions or event categories.

You should also confirm whether the reverse side can be customized. The back could contain sponsor details, a short thank-you message, the event date or the recipient’s category. If back printing is unavailable, ask whether engraving, labeling or another finishing option can be provided.

Individual personalization may increase the cost and production time. Prepare recipient information in a clear spreadsheet and check every name carefully before submitting it.

Review the Design Before Production

A digital proof is an important part of ordering customized awards. It allows you to see how the design will fit within the round printing area before the full quantity is produced.

Check the logo, text, colors, date and award category carefully. Make sure no important information is too close to the edge. If several sponsor logos are included, confirm that each one remains readable at the selected size.

Do not approve the proof until all changes have been completed. Changes requested after production begins may cause extra charges or delays.

How to Order Custom Circle Medals

Enter the required quantity and choose a size from 2 to 4 inches. Upload your artwork file, then use the order-notes field to explain your ribbon color, printing position, personalization, packaging and delivery requirements.

Before completing the order, confirm the medal material, thickness, weight, printing method, ribbon inclusion, minimum quantity and production schedule. Provide the date when the medals must arrive, not only the date of the event, so enough time remains for checking and organizing the order.
