Enamel Pin

Cut-out pins incorporate open spaces inside the metal design. These areas are removed during production, allowing the background, clothing or surface behind the pin to remain visible.

This technique can transform simple logos, lettering and symbols into distinctive all-metal pins with additional visual depth.

Seven Available Sizes

Choose from:

• 0.5 inch (12.7mm)

• 0.75 inch (19.1mm)

• 1 inch (25.4mm)

• 1.25 inches (31.8mm)

• 1.5 inches (38.1mm)

• 2 inches (50.8mm)

• 2.25 inches (57.2mm)

The 1-inch size is marked as the most popular option. Larger sizes are recommended when the artwork contains several small openings or detailed lettering.

Custom Shapes and Internal Openings

The outside edge can follow the shape of your logo, emblem or artwork. Internal sections may also be removed to create letters, decorative patterns or negative-space effects.

Very narrow lines or small openings may require adjustment to maintain the pin’s strength. RAFFLESTAG should review the artwork and recommend any necessary changes before production.

Antique and Matte Plating Options

Antique gold, antique silver and antique nickel are available at no additional charge. These finishes create darker recessed areas that help emphasize the design details.

Matte gold, matte nickel and matte silver cost an additional $0.15 per piece and provide a softer, less reflective appearance.

Multiple Back Attachments

Butterfly and rubber clutches are included free. Magnetic attachments are available for recipients who prefer not to pierce clothing, while a safety-pin back may be suitable for larger designs.

Wide or heavy pins may require two attachment points to reduce movement and prevent rotation.

Sandblasting and Epoxy Coating

A sandblasted effect is included as a free upgrade. The fine texture can create contrast between recessed areas and smoother raised metal details.

Clear epoxy coating is available for an additional $0.25 each. It provides extra surface protection and produces a smoother finish.

Packaging and Backing Cards

Free individual polybag packaging is included. Velour pouches, plastic boxes and velour boxes are available for awards, corporate gifts and premium presentation.

Choose a 54 × 86mm or 60 × 40mm backing card to display your logo, website, event details, instructions or retail barcode.

How to Order Custom Cut-Out Pins

Enter a quantity of at least 10 pieces and select a size. Choose the plating, attachment, packaging, backing card and any optional surface treatment.

Upload clear vector artwork where possible. Review and approve the RAFFLESTAG digital mockup, cut-out areas and metal finish before production begins.
